For each round of lesson inquiry, facilitated small groups of teachers:

  • collaboratively plan the implementation of a MathLinks lessons

  • one or two teachers deliver instruction while others observe the lesson in action

  • debrief the lesson and tweak it as desired based upon data gathered, and consensus

  • re-teach/observe in at least one more class

  • do a final debrief session and discuss next steps

This is an excellent ongoing growth opportunity! Lesson inquiry is appropriate in year 1 of implementation, but may serve teachers better after the completion of year 1.
