The CMAT team will customize professional development for districts and schools upon request.  Two examples of programs typically requested are:

 

• Topic-Driven Professional Development: This type of program focuses on specific grade level topics (e.g. probability and statistics, fractions), and also includes an overview of the content and practice standards of the Common Core

• Lesson Inquiry:  Small groups of teachers collaboratively plan the implementation of a lesson, teach and observe the lesson in action, debrief the lesson, and tweak the lesson, and teach it in another class. One lesson inquiry cycle typically takes 1 ½ days.
